Mohsin Hamid - The reluctant fundamentalist

Recommended to me by H. from Linnaeus. L. read it before and didn't like it, but I did. It's a short, powerful book that attracts your attention right from the start. The monologue form makes is interesting stylistically and the content makes you curious how this will turn out. Of course this is only one story about someone from the East coming to the West, but for me quite convincing on a more symbolic level as well. Very nice little read, especially from an unknown source.
